Family Friday

So my family draws names for the little ones for their Christmas gifts.  This year I put my Cricut to good use and made a tag for each of the kids.  It's so much nicer than ripping a piece of paper, plus they can keep it/scrap it if the moms want to.

I cut out cardstock in red, then layered a smaller piece of cardstock in green on top of that and used an off-white cardstock to cut out their name on the Cricket.  I glued everything together, folded them in half, punched a hole in the side to tie them shut with a piece of Christmas ribbon and put a large Chrsitmas sticker on the outside.

I used a clear plastic paint can that had red snowflakes on it for the container they drew out of. 

This was SO much fun to make and SO easy!  I love my Cricut and I love my husband for getting it for me!
